What is God: What do I mean when I say God?

What do I mean when I say God?
These two things are not necessarily the same thing. Just because I think that God is something does not make it so. At times the word "God" seems beyond my ability to understand or comprehend. And yet for the sake of understanding I must try to explain what I mean when I say God.
There is something that is the source and initiator of all things.
There is something that keeps all the planets and solar system on their courses.
There is something that makes plants, animals, and people grow.
There is something that makes truth to be indisputable and undeniable.
There is something that is the source (the mother and father) of all things.
There is something that is the power that holds all things together.
There is something that is the true love that binds the heart of a mother to her child.
There is something that is the synergy that develops between those who are of common true purpose.
There is something that is the infinite mind that contains the thoughts and ideas of all life.
There is something that is the creative power that gives the writer his words.
There is something that fills the space between objects.
There is something that creates the light that shines out of darkness.
There is something that creates the warmth that flows from the fire of the trial.
There is something that moves the wind that blows across the face of the earth
There is something that vitalizes the air that we breathe that gives life to our being
There is something that creates the creative power that energizes…..
There is something that that inspires our dreams and hopes for the future.
There is something the creates the DNA, the building source of all creation.
There is something that gives us the inspiration of a new idea.
There is something that creates the satisfaction of a job well done.
There is something that inspires an exciting new idea.
There is something that gives us the thought and impulse to let go of anger and turn to peace, to let go of bitterness and turn to love.
There is something that gives life and vitality to seemingly mundane and trivial tasks.
There is something that enables us to sacrifice ourselves for those we love. How Do I Know?
There is something that causes you to step and be kind and compassionate to the person that you wanted to avoid
There is something that makes you take on the situation that you wanted to avoid.
There is something that lives within you that makes you aware of the needs of the hurting and prompts you to respond compassionately
There is something that causes situations that come up that seemingly force you into correcting your own prejudices
There is something that seems to affect or control the outcome of many of life's events.
Someone might ask me, "How do you know there is a God?"
I would answer, "I don't know, but it seems to me that there is something."
There is something that holds the world and the universe together,
There is something that holds our bodies together,
There is something that give consistency to this life
There is something that made all of this. I don't believe the evolutionist when they say that everything came from nothing. That's impossible, you can't get anything from nothing. This whole universe had to come from something.
And I could go on and on.
I could call that something "The Source" or "The Initiator" or "The Great Power" "The Sustainer of LIfe" or any other similar name. What you call something does not change what it is. It is what it is no matter what you call it. The Chinese religion of Taoism calls it Tao. If there was another word or another name to use, that could just as well be used. Christians use the word "God", but I don't like to use that because it has all that christian ideology behind it. So much pain, misery, suffering, shame, guilt have been given using that word, even to this very day. And that is not what I mean by "something".
