The religious beliefs of a translator will greatly affect how they translate the text. There is not a direct word for word corelation between Greek and English.
If we make a claim that God wrote the Bible through the hands of men, and that it was perfect, infallible, inerrant in it's original documents, then we would also have to believe that God was also in control of all the people that copied and translated the bible throughout the milenia of time. If that was true, then why was the Bible locked away for centuries in Latin, only available to the priests and monks? If the Bible was truly the Word of God, then why did God not make it immediately available to all people from the very beginning.
